Finnish Deaths per Day

The following graph is based on data in the
"File of fallen soldiers during the Second World War in Finland"

Note that the file include ALL causes of deaths regardless of location, cause of death etc.
However, the graph offers still a good graphical illustration of the phases of the war, certain events like the Finnish II Corps counterattack in December as well as the beginning of the February Offensive by the Red Army.

Note eg. the spike in deaths caused by the Finnish counterattack in the Karelian Isthmus in December

Note: According to the File of the Fallen, the deaths of all causes betwen 30 November 1939 - 13 March 1940 total 25 636 deaths.
